Purpose: To add dynamic flavors to a drink without sweetness. No muddling needed!

Outline: Usually 0.5mL-2.25mL is added to a drink, varying based on other ingredients and total drink size. Each dropper has mL increments listed for accuracy and precision with every drink.

Experiment: Tested with a whole slew of drinks, from hot tea and lemonade and egg nog to margaritas, mojitos, sours, martinis, the Penicillin, Manhattans and Old Fashioneds, Negronis… The sky is the limit!

Observations: Banshee [Salted Bitters] adds salinity to all drinks, bringing out fantastic flavors, Cinna-Minotaur [Cinnamon Bitters] add a robust, dry, and spicy cinnamon aromatics, Dragon [Spicy Chile Bitters] adds a crisp, clean spiciness, Gator’s Lair [Celery Bitters] adds a juicy, earthy, mildly spicy, vegetal complexity, Goblins’ Treasure [Lime Bitters] adds refreshing lime flavors, Gremlins’ Glory [Ginger Bitters] adds crispy, flavorful earthy notes, Gryphons’ Grace [Grapefruit Bitters] adds flavorful, refreshing, zesty grapefruit aromatics, Hummingbird [Lavender Bitters] adds wonderfully aromatic botanicals, Leprechauns’ Gold [Lemon Bitters] adds fresh lemon flavor, Mountain Yeti [Chocolate Bitters] adds a smooth, dark chocolate complexity, Ogre’s Orchard [Orange Bitters] adds flavorful, fresh, zesty orange aromatics, and Unicorn [Citrus Bitters] adds a beautiful, zesty citrus component to all drinks listed under experiment, and many more untested.

Data: Banshee is a 50% abv solution of water, alcohol, two unprocessed sea salts and activated charcoal. Cinna-minotaur is a 50% abv solution of water, cane sugar distillate, cassia cinnamon, and Ceylon cinnamon. Dragon is a 50% abv solution of water, alcohol, four types of chile peppers, two unprocessed sea salts, lime peel, lemongrass, and bay leaf. Gator’s Lair is a 50% abv solution of water, alcohol, fresh celery and celery seed, unprocessed sea salt, tamari (water, soya, salt), Riskin’s Dragon and Riskin’s Gremlin’s Glory. Goblins’ Treasure is a 50% abv solution of water, alcohol, and lime peel. Gremlins’ Glory is a 50% abv solution of water, alcohol, powdered ginger, and ginger root. Gryphons’ Grace is a 50% abv solution of water, alcohol, grapefruit peel, and vanilla extract. Hummingbird is a 50% abv solution of water, alcohol, and lavender petals. Leprechaun’s Gold is a 50% abv solution of water, alcohol, and lemon peel. Mountain Yeti is a 50% abv solution of water, alcohol, chocolate, cocoa butter, and a touch of Riskin's Ginger bitters. Ogre’s Orchard is a 50% abv solution of water, alcohol, and orange peel. nicorn is a 50% abv solution of water, alcohol, lemon peel, orange peel, grapefruit peel, blood orange peel, vanilla extract, and citric acid. Each bottle has enough liquid for five to ten beverages.
