Lab Report: Cinna-Minotaur [Cinnamon Bitters]
Purpose: To add a robust cinnamon flavor and aroma to a drink without muddling, or adding syrup and powder.
Outline: Usually 1.5mL-3.75mL (2 to 5 droppers) is added to a drink, varying based on other ingredients and total drink size. Each dropper has mL increments listed on it for accuracy and precision with every cocktail.
Experiment: Tested with coffee, hot tea, hot cider, egg nog, hot chocolate, chocolate milk, Manhattans, old fashioneds, sazeracs, the Vieux Carre, whiskey sours, tequila sours, gin sours, Tiki drinks, margaritas, milk punches, hot toddies, the Corpse Reviver #2, chocolate martinis, espresso martinis, cosmopolitans.
Observations: Cinna-minotaur adds a dry, spicy, almost dusty flavor to all drinks listed under experiment, and many more untested.
Data: Cinna-minotaur is a 50% abv solution of water, cane sugar distillate, cassia cinnamon, and Ceylon cinnamon. Sample and full size bottles are available. The full size bottles will last 30-60 cocktails.
