Mountain Yeti
Lab Report: Mountain Yeti [Chocolate Bitters]
Purpose: To add a silky, flavorful chocolate profile to any drink without the need for powder, or melting it and adding it to syrups.
Outline: Usually 1.5mL-3.75mL (2 to 5 droppers) is added to a drink, varying based on other ingredients and total drink size. Each dropper has mL increments listed on it for accuracy and precision with every cocktail.
Experiment: Tested with lemonade, hot chocolate, hot cider, hot toddys, affogato, lemon drop martinis, the Manhattan, Moscow mules, margaritas, chocolate martinis, the Negroni, the Sazerac, mojitos, rum sours, Grasshoppers, drinks with muddled fruits.
Observations: Mountain Yeti adds a smooth, dark chocolate complexity to all drinks listed under experiment, and many more untested.
Data: Mountain Yeti is a 50% abv solution of water, alcohol, chocolate, cocoa butter, and a touch of Riskin's Ginger bitters. Sample and full size bottles are available. The full size bottles will last 25-60 cocktails.
