Lab Report: Succubus [Rose Bitters]

Purpose: To add the beautiful, botanical freshness and flavor of the rose flower to a drink without muddling or adding syrup.

Outline: Riskin recommends testing 1.5mL-3.75mL (2 to 5 droppers) in a drink, varying based on other ingredients and total drink size. Each dropper has mL increments listed on it for accuracy and precision with every cocktail.

Experiment: Riskin recommends adding these bitters to juices, lemonades, hot tea, iced tea, vodka & gin martinis, vodka tonics, gin & tonics, the Negroni, Moscow mules, mojitos, sparkling wine, and sours.

Observations: Rose bitters are botanical and fresh. They will work with all drinks listed under experiment, and many more untested.

Data: Rose bitters are a 50% abv solution of water, alcohol, and rose petals. Only sample-size bottles are available.
